Jaclyn Licht
Jaclyn Licht is a freelance photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is drawn to uncovering moments of spontaneity on the street, in governmental institutions, and everywhere in between.
Following four years of serving as Communications Officer at the UK Mission to the United Nations, she developed a long-term documentary project, "Unveiling Diplomacy," on the sometimes-comedic, sometimes-tumultuous behind-the-scenes moments at UN Headquarters. She continues to regularly document the nuances of UN affairs, and regularly reports on issues ranging from migration to climate mobility - all of which illuminate the human impact of high-level political decisions.
Additionally, she is a member of the New York City Street Photography Collective, and was named one of the “11 Best Street Photographers in New York City” by an overly kind writer at peerspace.com.
Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, El Pais, Le Temps, and others.
Jaclyn graduated from the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography in 2022. She also graduated from Brown University with a BA in English and Public Policy.
